- Say’s Law का textbook sense: production creates income that supports purchasing power; हर individual commodity अपनी demand guarantee नहीं करती।
- Interest-rate flexibility desired saving और investment को reconcile करती है: saving supply ↑ → interest tends to fall → investment ↑, other things equal।
Real-Wage Formula
Money wage से worker purchasing power और firm की real labour cost compare करें।
Worked example: Nominal wage W = 600 और price index ratio P = 3 → real wage = 200 purchasing-power units।
Interpretation: Index का base और units same रखें; money wage unchanged होने से real wage unchanged जरूरी नहीं।
Competitive Labour-Demand Condition
Given real wage पर firm की labour demand का simple numerical।
Worked example: MPL = 50 − L, W/P = 20 → L = 30।
| Classical emphasis | Keynesian objection / contrast |
|---|---|
| Flexible wages/prices restore balance | Nominal rigidity और aggregate-demand weakness adjustment रोक सकती है |
| Interest coordinates S and I | Saving depends strongly on income; investment expectations uncertain |
| Full-employment benchmark | Underemployment equilibrium possible |
| Real wage adjustment | General wage cuts income/demand
Active Recall / Writing Practice
- Classical adjustment के three markets/links लिखें।
Review: next day, third day और seventh day.
Memory recap: Classical: flexible real-market adjustment; Keynes: effective demand can hold output below full employment।

Your Revision Result
Your answer: · Correct answer: A. 200 units
W/P=500/2.5=200 purchasing-power units।
Your answer: · Correct answer: C. कोई change नहीं
Real-wage ratio=1.12/1.12=1; purchasing power unchanged
Your answer: · Correct answer: D. L=30
MPL=W/P → 80−2L=20 → L=30। यह given real wage पर demand-side result है।
Your answer: · Correct answer: C. Interest घटे और desired investment बढ़े
Funds supply right shift interest
Your answer: · Correct answer: D. Production income/purchasing power generate
Your answer: · Correct answer: D. Frictional/voluntary unemployment
Your answer: · Correct answer: C. Effective-demand deficiency से underemployment equilibrium possible है
Your answer: · Correct answer: C.
Your answer: · Correct answer: C. Real output/employment
Your answer: · Correct answer: C. L=30; wage=25
Your answer: · Correct answer: D. r=12%; funds=44
20+2r=80−3r → 5r=60 → r12; S=20+24=44 और I=80−36=44।
Your answer: · Correct answer: D. Workers
